Accountancy Idol?!
TS nearly choked on its daily kilo of foie gras on finding out that a reality show called Find America's Next Top Accountant is taking the world by storm....
'Ever since I was a kid I used to practise accountancy in my bedroom,’ Amy Winehouse apparently confessed.
‘Even though they kept rejecting me, I always believed I had the financial acumen and auditing skills to make my dreams come true.’Madonna also made a bid for top spot according to the Newsbiscuit website, but even the Material Girl was given a tongue lashing by the judges.
‘You call that deductible!’ shouted one of the professionals to a tearful Madonna as he tore up her illegible receipts from some holiday gift shop.'Forget it sweetheart. You’ll never make an accountant! You’ll just be an iconic rock superstar for the rest of your life!'
Fortunately for you and TS, Newsbiscuit is a spoof website, so rumours of a Brit spin-off which could have seen Graham Norton prancing through the halls of a leading firm are completely unfounded.
