KPMG's corporate thrashing

When entertained by the UK's finest accountants, TS has grown accustomed to fine dining, champagne receptions and the occasional bit of theatre.

It was with some surprise, therefore, that TS received an invitation from KPMG to attend a Linkin Park concert (an apparently well-known 'thrash metal' band - pictured).

For the uninitiated, thrash metal involves aggressive, screeching-type vocals, hopping up and down on one leg and very, very loud electric guitars.

Anyway, KPMG made sure that TS was able to watch the madness unfold in the comfort of the firm's corporate box at the O2 arena.

From this vantage point, glass of wine and plate of roast lamb in hand, TS was able to look down on the eager masses 'in the pit' smash into each other ('moshing', we believe is the term) as the lead singer exhorted them to 'go f***ing crazy'. Orthodox corporate entertainment will never be the same.

OK, I'd just like to point out that Linkin Park ISN'T Thrash metal. They're Nu-Metal. And by the way, chances are you work for these people. It takes all kinds to make the world. These are just a taste!

And I'd like to point out that Linkin Park isn't nu-metal, they're just a band.

Genre's are so overrated, and it is because of them that people are flocking to complain about the labeling of a band.
